How well do you think a foot that is locked up with little glide in the joints will adapt to the orthotics if made to your mal-positioned pathological foot? If your feet are hyper mobile do you know the mechanics of the foot to identify how it happened?
May I suggest that a new paradigm is here that is far more logical and effective ?
Make an orthotic to a normal functioning foot !
This is an injection mold orthotic that will conform to the shape of the foot.
The Baby Boomers are already suffering in their feet and lower legs and back and they can still be helped usually. If you are younger this is the time to increase the warrantee on you feet, knees, hips and low back by controlling you feet and its relationship to the ground.
Happy feet are supported feet ! Since the angle of the feet do not always adapt well to our artificial environment of concrete, asphalt and hard wood floors, the feet then need to try adapt as best they can and most eventually fail at some point.
Wake up ! because we have a pandemic of plantar fascitis, bunions, heel spurs, knee replacements, hip replacements, and back surgeries on disc herniations/ protrusions that have no history of trauma. If you think you will escape these things just look at the people around you that are having these procedure's done. Think of how many relatives have consistently came down with the same conditions and then ask how you will escape those problems. Do you think ignoring them works ?
Now make the right decision.
